Fatcat Baking is a proudly queer woman-owned pre-order and popup bakery that is dedicated to making high quality egg-free, dairy-free vegan food and pastry for EVERY body. Our goal is to be a community bakery that brings good people together.

American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Syracuse is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Run, don't walk, to the next event that Fatcat Baking is at! Megan, Alex, and the rest of their team are wonderful. Their baked goods and their food are delicious. They are completely vegan. There's literally isn't anything I don't love about Fatcat Baking! If you're considering Fatcat, be sure to read! They are a wholesale and custom bakery; they do not have a storefront. Yep, they're that good! But don't despair: They go to SO many events in the Syracuse area where you can buy their treats and food. You won't be disappointed!

Some of the best baked goods in Syracuse, that are also vegan! Bonus: Megan and Alex are super friendly cool people that are really involved in the community. If you see Fatcat at an event make sure you grab some goodies before they sell out. Pop tarts and Linzer cookies are my personal fav:) The gluten free choc chip cookies are also pure magic.

My friend ordered this vegan cake for my birthday and not only was it a beautiful cake, it tasted delicious too! We hardly had any leftovers between the 5 of us because we couldnβt get enough. Iβve also visited FatCatBaking at various pop up stands and their pastries and desserts are ALWAYS delicious. The owner and their team are amazing people and itβs always fun chatting with them, too!
